The Silicone Dynamic Orthotic is the next generation prescription in arch support—
Hydrodynamic pressure, lifts and holds the arch up in the foot’s own natural alignment position, cushioning shock from your foot to your low back while absorbing the harmful effects of too much arch motion (overpronation).
Think of it this way: A prescription volume of silicone under your arch. It fills the entire inside surface of the arch cushioning it in its properly supported position. It matches the way you walk; it supports the arch naturally.

What Makes The Silicone Dynamic Orthotic Unique
and So Different?
It
is the mechanical action that separates the Silicone
Dynamic Orthotic
from any orthotic. It matches the way the foot walks.
Unlike traditional orthotics, which keep your foot
in a "fixed" position, the Silicone Dynamic Orthotic moves with your
foot, like it's part of it. The Silicone
Dynamic Orthotic cushions your foot, minimizing the
motion of the arch as it props it up. Besides comfort, the
Silicone Dynamic Orthotic
also has the long-term benefit of helping realign your body
and slowing down wear and tear throughout.
What causes this wear and tear? The arch moves up and down
, hundreds or thousands of footsteps every day and it
stretches as far as it can with each step to absorb shock. The arch
is the foundation of your body's postural problems. The motion of the arch is called "pronation".
It is a very complex motion, and yet in its simplest form,
it is nothing more than the arch spreading out as much as
it can, being forced to absorb shock. Each time the arch moves,
the
knees, hips and low back also move. This creates a "postural" problem. The more
the musculo-skeletal system
moves, the more and quicker it breaks down.
The
arch is the "center" of all pronation/postural problems.
You know how you rate dogs lives? About 5 years to our one,
well I look at people who ALL wear and tear down like cars.
So, I rate people as 100,000 miles on your body for each
ten years of your life, And so the majority of people start
to come to me at 400,000-600,000 miles. Some in better shape
than others.
The SDO addresses the center
of ALL pronation/postural problems by simply being a precise fitting
cushion that guides rather than controls each footstep and
minimizes the arch from overstretching with each step.
This is what makes the SDO so accurate as an orthosis and yet is so easy and comfortable
to wear (in most shoes too). It matches the way you walk.
And for those in pain from all those miles, the SDO starts
to reverse years of every footstep, restoring health to
the tissues and alleviating painful problems.
Plantar Fasciitis - It's Cause
The #1 most common foot problem in the world, AKA heel spurs, heel
pain, arch pain, or just sore feet. The underlying condition
is a lifetime of accumulated, repetitive overstretching (overpronation)
of the arch with every single step.
Three Categories Of Response
Commonly called plain
sore feet 1/3 will have very quick and profound reversal of
symptoms within a few days to 8 weeks. One adjustment may be
necessary to fine tune.
For many in this category, 6-9 months to being
pain free.
1/3 will take a little more time (2-3 months) to feel
comfortable on the SDO, but a positive healing response is
noted. 1-2 adjustments may be necessary.
For many in this
category, 1-2 years to being pain free.
CHRONIC PROBLEM This is the most difficult category to
treat, primarily because the healing process can be painfully sloooow. A minimum of 1-2 years of unsuccessful treatment or
neglect will have occurred. Sensory loss and muscle strain
over the years will take considerable time to restore
flexibility to the small intrinsic muscles of the feet. A
minimum of several months to one-two years will be required
to obtain near to total relief (and even longer). 6-10 years will be needed to
reverse your wear and tear to the health of your soft
tissues that occurred from 10-30 years ago. 3-4 adjustments,
may be needed just to get comfortable and properly fit.
For many in this category, 2-5 years to being
pain free.
